暨“历史视野下的灾害文化与灾害治理”国际学术研讨会
一号通知
尊敬的 女士/先生：
突如其来的庚子年新冠肺炎疫情，使中国乃至全球绝大多数地方都面临着严峻的生存危机，也引发了全国人民乃至全球社会对包括疫情在内的灾害事件及其应对的深刻反思。此一反思以当前疫情为主体，涉及人文与自然两大学科几乎各个领域，并触及整个人类历史时期的疫病、灾害与社会、文化的相互关系，以及人类灾害响应的经验和教训，必将推进中国乃至全球灾害治理的水平，推动灾害研究进入新的历史阶段，反过来也给传统的灾害史研究带来了巨大的挑战。在新的时代际遇下，如何努力借鉴跨学科研究方法，坚守历史思维和历史逻辑，从多种不同的角度总结包括今日在内的不同历史时期、不同民族、区域的灾害文化及灾害治理的经验，进而为当前社会防灾减灾建设提供借鉴，是灾害史学者不容回避的责任与使命。为此，中国灾害防御协会灾害史专业委员会决定联合云南大学西南环境史研究所、中国人民大学清史研究所暨生态史研究中心、中国水利水电科学研究院水利史研究所等单位，于2020年10月10-11日在云南大学召开中国灾害防御协会灾害史专业委员会第十七届年会暨“历史视野下的灾害文化与灾害治理”国际学术研讨会，诚邀海内外学者莅临指导。
本次会议将承续先例，专设“中国灾害史研究青年学者论坛”，欢迎国内外的高校青年教师、博士后及在校攻读硕士、博士学位的青年才俊报名参与交流。
现将会议有关事项通知如下：
一、会议主题和议题

二、会议时间和地点
1、时间：2020年10月9-11日（9日周五报到，10、11日会议，12日离会）
2、地点：云南大学东陆校区（云南省昆明市五华区翠湖北路2号）
三、会议规模：60-80人
四、费用：会议不收会务费，参会代表往返交通费及住宿费自理。会议材料费及用餐，由主（承）办单位承担。

The 17th annual meeting of the disaster history committee of China Association for Disaster Prevention (CADP) and the international conference on "Disaster Culture and Disaster Governance from the Perspective of History" International Conference

The Sudden outbreak of COVID-19 has brought severe survival crisis to China and most parts of the world. It has also triggered a profound reflection on disasters, including the epidemic, and the global society.
The reflection on the current epidemic as the main body, two disciplines involved in humanities and nature almost all fields, and to touch the entire historical period of human disease, disaster and the relationship of the social, cultural, and the experiences and lessons of human disaster response, will promote the level of China and even global disaster governance, promote the disaster research into a new historical stage, disasters, in turn, to the traditional study of the history has brought the huge challenge.
Under the circumstances of new era, how to draw lessons from the interdisciplinary research methods, stick to the historical thought and historical logic, from a variety of different historical periods, different ethnic groups, including today's disasters, regional culture and disaster management experience, to provide reference for the current social construction of disaster prevention and mitigation, disaster history scholars is unavoidable responsibility and mission.
So, the Disaster History Committee of China Association for Disaster Prevention decided joint Institute of Southwest Environmental History of Yunnan University, Institute of Qing History and Ecological History Research Center of Renmin University of China, China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research and other units, to hold The 17th annual meeting of the disaster history committee of China Association for Disaster Prevention and the international conference on "Disaster Culture and Disaster Governance from the Perspective of History" in yunnan university from October 10 to 11, 2020.
We sincerely invite scholars from home and abroad to join and guide us.

Conference theme: Research on disaster culture, disaster governance and comprehensive disaster reduction capability
Main topics of the meeting:
1. The theory and method of disaster culture and disaster governance
2. Comparative study on disaster culture and disaster governance at home and abroad
3. Disaster culture, disaster governance and its changes in China
4. Disaster culture and disaster governance of all ethnic groups in China
5. The epidemic/ plagues in China's history and its response
6. Study on COVID-19 from a historical perspective
7. Research on other disaster history related issues
But not limited to the above topics, other subject-related research is also available.
